We began the renovation with essential updates to the plumbing and electrical systems, upgrading the vertical supply lines inside the shower walls to current code and relocating the supply and drain lines to serve the new pan. The remodel created a spacious walk-in shower with frameless glass doors and marble-look porcelain tile, carried floor to ceiling for a finish that is as easy to maintain as it is to look at.

Once a carpeted space built around a closed-in tub, this bathroom in Irvine is now a bright and open retreat. A pair of small windows sits tiled into the wet wall, dropping daylight directly onto the marble-look porcelain, with a rain shower head and handheld sprayer on a brushed nickel Delta valve. A recessed shampoo niche with a metal trim edge keeps bottles off the floor, and the hexagon mosaic pan drains through a linear shower drain set along the back wall. This field upgrade that let the mosaic run as an unbroken field rather than pitching toward a center point.
