After 14 years of living with an outdated kitchen, our Terri is finally enjoying the space of her dreams, an open, bright, and modern coastal-inspired kitchen that combines style and functionality in perfect harmony. This Laguna Hills kitchen remodel is a stunning example of how thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship can transform a space into a calming, beautiful retreat.
To begin the transformation, we reconfigured the layout for better flow and usability. The window and sink were relocated and centered to create a more balanced, symmetrical design and allow for optimal natural light. The entire kitchen now feels more spacious and inviting, ideal for both everyday living and entertaining guests.
Before: This kitchen in Laguna Hills was dark, cluttered, and closed off, making the space feel smaller and outdated.
After: We opened it up with white shaker cabinets, bold blue backsplash tile, and large-format gray tile flooring for a fresh, vibrant look.
The large peninsula with a sleek waterfall edge doubles as a breakfast bar and a prep station, making mornings easier and gatherings more interactive. Beneath it all, durable porcelain tile flooring in a modern gray tone grounds the space while adding subtle texture and warmth.
